Peaches Galore

After four years of late frosts killing off our peach blossoms, this year has become a banner year! We had to brace up all the branches on the four trees since there were clusters of four to five peaches at every node. The local orchard was spraying their peach trees with something to chemically thin them since the trees were making up for lost time.
Anyway, harvest is in and we can't keep up with it... jam, freeze dried slices, canned quarters etc. We're either eating them or preserving them as fast as we can but still giving most away. Five bushels of peaches from one semi-dwarf tree is just crazy!!
